New Home of World Government?
UK’s Brown Suggests Step Toward Global Tax
How far can the new world order folks be from thinking they can win? You know the one world government crowd who see us as one large totalitarian state ruled for the good of all. Which translates to either marshmallow dreams or a global power grab.
I suggest we think local and abandon the concept of global. How has global improved our lives. Millions have been downsized by global outsourcing. How many hold positions below their ability because “off shore” is cheaper?
Just say “No” to global governence.

Gordon Brown raised the possibility of a global tax on financial transactions on Saturday in a move that threatened to reignite international tensions over the regulation of the banking industry and upstage the Group of 20 meeting of finance ministers and central bank governors.
Speaking at the G20 meeting in St Andrews, Scotland, the British prime minister raised a number of possibilities he suggested might help banks to pay for the insurance they receive from taxpayers and repeated an earlier G20 commitment to ask the International Monetary Fund to consider them.
