Dog Days and poodles

July and the “dog days are here. Rained in June, floods in the area in July, so much for global warming. The ice is thicker in Antarctica and Greenland but hey the planet is melting. Do any of those fools think that mankind can change the normal temperature fluctuations of the earth? We have been in a 10,000 year cycle of abnormally calm weather. Things have remained in a small range. I cannot imagine life if we were to have 120 degree days for 24 or 36 months. Or the scenario of snow and ice in July, followed by summer in November.
We have been blessed with pretty calm weather. The floods in Texas and Oklahoma are examples of extremes. A couple of degrees warmer, less food, less people and a lot less social issues. Survival tends to steer one back to the basics.
I think the liberals, which remind me of poodles, need to consult their “unrevised” history books. They are obviously clueless. By the way, standard poodles are large and can be very aggressive. Some down right nasty by nature, sounds like a liberal, eh?
If I am able to relocate to MT mountains, will I regret it because of an ice age?
Canada is an option especially if the “pear” gets elected. It’s like a throw back to the 70′s in small towns in Alberta. I liked the 70′s but I have changed since then. Where I once tolerated hippies and lefties now I have little or no tolerance for them. Not that Canada is full of hippies and lefties. Just what was nice or decent or tolerable then is not where I wish to be now.
For the most part the Canadians I have met, are very nice people with moderate views. Except for a national conspiracy obsession. They think there are black helicopters, black suv’s and governmental plots on every corner.
That is a very liberal thing. Conspiracy-think, I believe is a mild form of paranoia. Or in the case of some liberals extreme form of paranoia. Their disease borders on psychosis. Does anyone remember that psychosis is incurable? Today it’s a magic pill or three and everything is under control. “Not really” just covered up.
Saw today the most prescribed medication is anti-depressant. What do people have to be depressed about? They don’t look like a movie star, nor make as much money. Oh, gee, life is a tragedy.
The life of anna nicole smith was a tragedy. So looks and money will not get you into heaven but it sure might get you into hell. Which is an entirely new subject for another day.

It’s hot. The Al-Gorians have met and sang praises for the days of doom. Do the common people understand the goal of socialism is to control all aspects of life and to separate the worker from his hard earned cash? I think not.

Until then . . . ..
