Schumacher Drives F1 Again

Mike's New Ride

Mike's New Ride

New Formula One Dream Team

At least on paper the marriage between German manufacturer, Mercedes and German racing driver legend, Michael Schumacher seems perfect. But with most perfect pictures, there something to be learned from reality.

Prediction-

Schumacher bombs

BrawnGP now known as Mercedes runs in behind McLaren and Red Bull. Which will be a big bomb for the Mercedes investment even with a Nico Rosberg win.

The double diffuser controversy of 2009 was more about an illegal advantage for BrawnGP than the teams superior qualities. At best, Jenson Button is day in day out a mid pack driver. The best thing that happened to Brawn(Mercedes)GP was the move of Button to be the lackey for Hamilton at McLaren. The worst thing that happened to Brawn(Mercedes)GP was the lose of Rubens Barrichello and the signing of Schumacher. Rubens is a team player, Schumacher is an egomaniac. In my opinion, much of the problems at Ferrari for Kimi Raikkonen were at the hands of Schumacher.

That’s all ancient history, now let’s see who gets the crystal ball award for 2010?

Michael Schumacher will return to Formula 1 in 2010, after Mercedes GP confirmed on Wednesday that the seven-time World Champion is joining its team next year.

The German, who will turn 41 in January, has been linked with the outfit ever since Mercedes-Benz took over Brawn GP. He finally concluded a three-year deal to make a sensational F1 return on Tuesday evening.
