Surviving Socialism Video

It’s been over 20 years since the Berlin Wall fell. We know from recent polls that 30% of U.S. citizens have a favorable opinion of socialism. Socialism, Communism and Marxism are not interchangeable words for the same concept. While they share common principles, they are variations of the concept of collectivism.

During my time in Berlin, I passed the stone wall multiple times and worked less than a mile from the fence separating East and West. Every day I worked I was reminded, we were in conflict with a massive organization which denied basic freedoms to its citizens. Few have the chance to see Communism up close. If we do not keep the realty of the nightmare alive, we will fall to the fantasy of collectivism.
