Palin Endorses Perry- Storm Over Texas

Bull or the Horns Who Gets What?
The ticker across the bottom said, “Palin endorses Perry.”
What’s up with that? The ticker continued, ‘against Kay Bailey Hutchinson, Texas powerhouse Senator.’ Hummm.
It’s almost 5 a.m., awake at 3 up at 4, listened to a couple of youtube songs sent to me. Glanced at at thing on dementia. Said, ‘Superior language skills as a teen indicate less likelihood of dementia.’ Best send a flash to the Dept. of Health and Human Services to gear up for a generation of senile fools mumbling about the halls of U.S. nursing homes in 40 years. The schools today are turning out people who can barely read. Language skills are non-existent.
So, Gov. Palin endorsed Gov. Perry in his bid for re-election in Texas. Are not incumbent politicians sacred in their own party? Why then would Kay Bailey Hutchinson run against Rick Perry. The state is doing well, profitable, producing jobs. What’s to dislike about Perry? He’s charming, seems like a solid guy.
Maybe it’s Gov. Perry’s Tenth Amendment stance against the federal government. But why would a conservative be against the Tenth Amendment? Maybe the party which backs Hutchinson, “gop”, doesn’t like the Tenth Amendment. Possible? How can that be, the republican party against the Tenth Amendment? Maybe it’s what the Tenth Amendment and limited government movement does to the political system.
An already ailing “gop” lacks clout with most voters. Against the democratic congress they seem like geniuses, but isn’t that more of the “lesser of two evils” thing we’ve done for several election cycles? Is this an effort to derail the “right wing extremists?” You make the call on that.
For me, Gov. Palin’s endorsement sounds like so much “politics as usual.” Would not she and Perry both been better served by announcing a stance against the base of the N.E. republican branch? An indication they both seek to strike out in a new direction, leaving behind the “move to the left, Michael Steele” branch of the “gop?”
Call me a right wing extremist, but I do not believe the “gop” can carry more than 30% in a general election. Until I see a candidate free from party money and influence, I’m sticking to the “vote no by boycotting.” That may be the Un-American stance, but I gave in and voted for McCain, against all instinct. That was a grave error. Had we boycotted the “gop“ last fall, we’d see a new party emerging now.
Do not accept the idea that a person can run inside either party and not be compromised. The power and influence of the parties has corrupted the process. We are being sold down the river by people who pretend to be conservative but line up on the side of more government. National health care, amnesty for illegals, food nazi bill, hate crime speech, cap and trade will all be law before year’s end because the “gop” is complicit. Do not buy the excuse they cannot stop it.
If they are against it, they must either fall on their swords or quit. There is no honor in any other result.
