Hawaii bho's Heaven or Hell?
In a comment someone asked for proof of my statement concerning Frank Marshall Davis.
I said he was a racist which was expressed in his writing. This morning, I have searched for excerpts, but have yet to find any. Without definitive proof I can only say, that from memory, Mr. Davis’s attitude toward whites in his writing was racist.
A cross reference I found was from the jr. admin. from IL’s book–
“This is consistent with Davis telling obama that black people “have a reason to hate (white people)” (Dreams of my Father, p. 91)”
The quote comes from Cliff Kincaid’s USA Survival site.
Two other quotes from Kincaid–
“An FBI source, who was close to Davis in 1959, reported he had been having a problem with his comrades of the ILWU and the newspaper they supported because Davis was “haole (Caucasian) hater”. Although his anti-white attitude antagonized his comarades, Davis continued to be a true believer and complained that he had been warned on the Mainland prior to his departure to reside in Hawaii that he would get a state in lethargy.”
Davis complains: “Unfortunately, many settling in Hawaii want to lose their black identity. To them the black revolution had little meaning. They consider themselves as achieving, on a personal level, what others want as a group, and they are satisfied.”
One might also look at NewZeal’s blog. Trevor Loudon has done extensive research on the jr. admin. from IL’s communist background.
While searching usasurvival.org, I reread segments on Frank Marshall Davis’s roots in Chicago at a time when communism was in the open. Pre-WW II communist groups worked in Chicago. So little had changed in my lifetime, Chicago remains a hot bed of Anti-Americanism. Do you find it strange that jr. admin. went to Chicago? His Hawaii mentor mentioned in “Dreams” moved to Hawaii from Chicago.
A more disturbing fact which has been reported keeps coming back to me. Mr. & Mrs. Stanley Dunham had a relationship with Frank Marshall Davis. There are statements in other work pointing to the Dunham’s relationship with socialism. Which might explain why their daughter and grandson became involved.
You have a computer and a search engine. The statements are there for anyone wishing to read regarding the past, of jr. admin. which I posted last year. The relationships, in light of Frank Marshall Davis’s self confessed sexual perversion, disturb me. But maybe I am just too right wing.
No, I did not answer the comment concerning exact quotes from Frank Marshall Davis’s books. But, I will keep looking.
