Is the donkey to Blame?
Honduras, Iran, Pakistan, North Korea
Cap N Trade, Health Care, Amnesty for Illegals
The seven more visible problems we face beyond economic collapse. Are we on “fast forward” to an implosion? If so, what can be done to reverse the destruction? Is there someone guiding the ship? Or is this the universe having its way with us?
In the midst of yelling,
“my hair is on fire,”
what other action can be applied?
Is there a catalyst for the apparent implosion? Was it the election of the jr. admin. from IL, or should I say ascension? (As some are not sure he was even a verifiable candidate.) Or has it been in the works for some time? Two factors stand out to me– political correctness and multiculturalism as weapons of destruction. Without the PC tool, people would still be speaking their mind. Without the push to homogenize our culture, being rural and/or conservative would not be a bad thing.
Beyond that as a nation we have urged for “big.” The concept of big worked in our minds. Big translated to cheap, and we like the idea of outgrowing our position in life reaching for the status of royalty. The price we paid for blindness has now settled on us. No longer can we shuffle the credit card bills under the rug or ignore the pending financial disaster of our reckless spending.
As they say, “the accounting is at hand.”
We can blame obama, we can blame the democrats, but we need to look long and hard in the mirror. We have allowed our nation to go to hell in a handcart. We the People are responsible for the actions of our government. To date we did not hold them accountable either. We let their dalliances slide, lest they mention ours. Pot calling Kettle thing in play there.
Put away our foolish ideas of a hero in shining armour just over the hill. Put away our dreams of living beyond our means, just because everyone else does. Put away the concept that, “someone else will do it.” Time to buckle down and get on the job.
If one has the talent to hold an office they should volunteer. Remember, our nation was built on citizen legislators not professional money grubbers. The more you clamor to return to private life during your tenure, the more valuable you might be to the city, state, or nation you serve.
Contemplate the action needed, “citizens must be put into service of our nation.”
Better to serve as an elected official than as a militia member, yes?
