Good morning, Laura,
What appears to be the inevitable McCain nomination has spurred me to write. I believe it is time for conservatives to make a stand. In my opinion, the future of democracy in the U.S. is in play. Rather than rehash that, I have a solution for the conservative of this nation.I propose that we not go the polls in November.
Compromising our values is no longer viable. This simple message will be heard around the world. A complete sweep of the elections at local, state, and national levels will spur the liberals to thinking they have a mandate. Within four years, a more focused group of conservatives will be ready to take back control of the government. Four years of any the three remaining candidates will drive everyone but the loonies into our camp.
I am following up this suggestion with a simplified plan for each of us to get involved at the local level of politics.
