And the Doctor says, “Push!”
Do you say, “not right now, I’m busy fighting with my husband?”
Sound silly? Of course, and so is the infighting in the Tea Party/Republican/GOP party. No, I realize they all different entities technically. But,in practice they are one all going in the same direction– depose the “Dems.”
The time debate as to who is right and who is out to lunch will come, but right now the focus must be on one thing– replacing as many legislators who will not stand against the march to bigger, more oppressive government. Can everyone agree to just shut up and get on with the process of getting out the vote.
Yes, after the fact the GOP may claim a victory. Or they may lose some power to Tea Party activists. But, in the short term, the balance of power will be tipped away from the bigger government proponents. Everyone wins if the count in the house tips in favor of the GOP. Government can be stalemated. In the current environment that is a good deal.
So, can we get on with this birth of New Republic. “PUSH—————!”
