Beer, BBQ, Beach, Babes, and Bang-Overs
That’s what makes for a great Memorial Day, right?
If faced with the prospect of sitting around with a bunch of old relatives hearing stories about Grat Uncle Melvin who lost both his legs in WWI, came home raised a family and was a God fearing man, the former sounds like a better day.
Without the Uncle Melvins, you and I would live in a different world. Not because the Germans, nor the Russkis, or anyone else would have taken our capitol, but for the standards which such men set. A country without morals, tradition, and sacrifice will not last long in the face of peril. There those in power today who believe in the mythical “equality, and “good will” of men. In my opinion, they are either fools or children.
Today, men and women sacrifice life and limb as a show force to the world, that we as a nation have morals, tradition and the will power to do what is right for our country. Today we honor those who stand for “Right” in our Republic.
