Headline Timberlake Wins Indy

A headline on my google page jumped out at me.

That brought a big “huh” from me since I had watched the end, and a tearful Dan Wheldon in victory lane. But, all was not lost – Justin Timberlake’s, William Rast, sponsored Bryan Herta Autosport in their Indianapolis adventure.

While I’m not a fan of Timberlake, the story has great merit and a happy ending. Dan Wheldon dumped unceremoniously by Chip Ganassi, found himself without a ride in the current Indy Car season. Wheldon a former series champ and all round oval track wizard, is my wife’s favorite. I would have been a Wheldon fan after watching him smoke the field at Kansas a few years ago, but we always choose different drivers to add a little variety while watching. (She’s also a Kyle Busch fan)

In this event the good guys “came first” as the English like to say. Hip, Hip, Hooray for Dan, Bryan and Justin.
