Alaska the First?
We have seen the blow back from Gov. Rick Perry’s mention of secession. Alaska is about ready to fire a shot across the bow of central planning (communist party DC branch). Alaska is the one state who would not miss Washington DC. Rumors had Gov. Palin involved in the Alaska secession movement in her younger days.
My question is “why not?”
Thanks to the Right Side of Life for this story.
What does the U.S. offer Alaska that they could not get from Canada 3 times over. Protection? That’s a joke. The jr. admin. from IL has started dismantling the military where “bubba” left off. Sure the Russians want Alaska back. Why not with all the oil and natural gas. With Alaska they might become the world’s largest oil producer. Can you see Putin dripping in gold chains and riding along in a big limo convertible with a half dozen floozies by his side. Somehow I can’t. Maybe half naked in the woods with an AK-47.
When Gov. Palin signs this bill the message will be clear– We have rights. What will Washington’s response be?

Via TenthAmendmentCenter.com, HR27 (status page) is on its way to Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin’s desk:
In Alaska, House Joint Resolution 27 is “Awaiting Transmittal to the Governor” as the State Senate passed it on April 19th with a vote of 19-0 (1 absent). The resolution previously passed the State House with a vote of 37-0 (3 absent) – and the revised version passed on the 19th with a vote of 40-0.
